Nuclear Fusion

The word 'fusion' means to bring two more parts together into a single object. In nuclear fusion, protons and neutrons of two different atoms combine together into a single atomic nuclei. For small atoms, such as hydrogen, this process can generate huge amounts of energy as well.

Nuclear fusion considered the 'Supreme' source of energy and the power of the future. It creates huge amounts of energy, it is renewable, it is green, and has no hazardous products to dispose of. It sounds amazing, but there is just one problem...

It doesn't work yet.

Nuclear fusion is just a theoretical form of energy at this point. We know it occurs in the sun and in hydrogen bombs, be we have not able to recreate and control this process. Research continues to investigate how to make fusion a possibility in the future.
